Full description
This orange and yellow butterfly is made from aluminium which I have dyed in a criss cross pattern and then sealed so that the dye becomes a permanent part of the metal. I then saw pierce the butterfly shape by hand and dome it slightly so that it catches the light.
The butterfly hangs from a sterling silver hoop and I have added two peachy freshwater pearls which dangle from sterling silver pins.
The sterling silver chain, which may vary from the one pictured, is 16" long and the butterfly measures approximately 27mmx 20mm
