Full description
This blue and green butterfly is made from aluminium which I have dyed in a criss cross pattern and then sealed so that the dye becomes a permanent part of the metal. I then saw pierce the butterfly shape by hand and dome it slightly so that it catches the light.
The butterfly hangs from a sterling silver hoop and I have added two blue freshwater pearls which dangle from sterling silver pins.
The sterling silver snake chain is 16" long and the butterfly measures approximately 27mmx 20mm
