I have always loved elephants. I think children are naturally drawn to larger animals simply through an awe of their size. But I became really hooked as a young adult after my first visit to Windsor Safari Park, where I was able to feed a baby elephant for the first time. The Park is sadly now gone; but my fond memories of that beautiful, playful elephant calf still linger.

Full description
The Elephant on the cover of this A6 Diary is hand-felted in an amazing Indian Blue. He has been wet-felted onto a charcoal-black Merino wool background, and then lightly hand-stitched for definition, with just a few, bright red cross-stitches in shiny silk, for that touch of Bollywood. This is a handy size for carrying around in a handbag, and would make a lovely Christmas or Birthday present.
The Diary is an A6 (11cm x 15cm), 2013 Page-to-View with a narrow marker ribbon, and a teal blue tie ribbon.
Please note: this item is totally hand-felted, and so will not be as even as commercial felt. It may shed a few hairs here and there, but is a very tactile item, soft to the touch, and very pleasing to hold.
Your Diary will be wrapped in acid-free tissue paper for transit, and will be posted by First Class post within 3 days of clearance of payment.
