I spotted this daybed in a shop covered in a tatty cotton print fabric. Because it is so unusual, I just had to have it and and bring it back to life. It's been a great and rewarding project to work on.

Full description
This is a lovely, unique small french daybed, which has been lovingly re-upholstered and painted using Annie Sloan chalk paint.
It can be used as seating or for relaxing and putting your feet up with a good book and nice galss of wine. A lovely piece of furniture which would be a focal point in any room. Great for a bay window, bedroom, conservatory or summer house. Both ends drop down for you to rest your feet or head (no full weight is to be put on them) so it is very versatile. They have been finished off with two buttons on the inside and double piping on both sides.
The base has been re-upholstered the traditional way, using traditional materials and has also a fire retardent interlining under top fabric. I have used a very pretty linen fabric with a flower pattern which changes in the light. It also comes with two small pillows in the same fabric but using the reverse side which is a little lighter.
The measurements are:
4ft long with an extra 1.5ft when either end is dropped
2ft3" wide
5" from floor to base.
