Stunning hand-sewn cushion made from vintage (1970s) kimono obi fabric.
The obi is worn around the middle of the kimono ike a wide belt and is made from sumptuous, thick brocade silk.
This obi has an extraordinary design of stylised flowers and leaves. It was damaged, so in the spirit of recycling I have taken an undamaged section and used it to make an unusual cushion!
The gold and black line across the cushion is part of the design - it shows the section which is left hanging once the obi is tied.
12"x12" (30cm x 30cm), comes complete with a hollowfibre cushion pad.
