Sitting in a friends garden watching her bees buzzing, I was inspired to make this bee skep, harking back to ancient beekeeping times.

Bees buzzing on a summer evening.
Bee Skeps have been in use for 2000 years to house bees, originally made of willow they would have been covered with mud or dung. The design can often be seen on honey jars.
This Handmade Decorative Willow Bee Skep would enhance any cottage garden. Handwoven using Somerset Willow this bee skep makes an unusual and wonderful gift.
