Full description
An A4 size (29.7 x 21 cm or 11.7 x 8.3 inches) print of Lucy's vibrant 'Tree House Retreat' Illustration. This is the autumnal version. The image depicts a forest of trees and a tree house in which sits a reading girl and a ginger cat. There are fairy lights in the stretched across the trees and a yellow ladder leads to the tree house.
The illustration is printed onto high quality glossy photo paper, which brings out the vivid colors and details in the image.
This artwork can be put straight up onto a wall to add instant color or framed and hung to create an eye-catching feature in a room. It's ideal for a workspace, living room or bedroom and it also makes an wonderful present for kids and big kids alike.
SHIPPING: In order that this print can reach you in mint condition it will be sent in a plastic sleeve between two pieces of sturdy card in an A4 envelope, to ensure it does not get creased. It will be posted 1st class.
How Lucy created this artwork:
1. The trees, tree house, girl and cat were drawn free hand in pencil onto a sheet of white paper.
2. The pencil drawing was traced in black fine-liner onto tracing paper.
3. This image was then scanned onto a computer and the black outline was refined (which took flipping ages).
4. The individual leaves were created in the same way as above, then cut and pasted onto the branches.
5. Then the color, texture and pattern were added using scanned in fabrics, hand drawn pattern and found textures.
