Full description

Delicate, lacy and reversible, this little piece of original textile art makes a perfect bookmark – an ideal gift for a nature lover or gardener, and very light for posting too!

The design is an impression of a hedgerow in summer, full of wild flowers and foliage. (If you've seen my flowery bowls - it's the same design idea and technique.)

It’s made by free machine embroidering on soluble fabric, with a base of green net so that the stitching doesn’t have to be too bulky.

The bookmark measures about 18cm x 4.5cm (7” x 1.75”). It is tacked onto a printed card and presented in a cellophane packet.

Please note: the bookmark you receive may not be identical to the one pictured – I repeat the same design and colours but the free nature of the technique means it’s impossible to make exact copies.

N.B. I only list one bookmark of each design at a time, but usually have more in stock. If you require more than one of the same design, please contact me and I'll adjust the listings.
