This chunky necklace features burnt orange beads with gold patterning which are striking and very pretty!
They are in a style reminiscent of chinoiserie, with a pretty marbled or flecked pattern of pale gold over a darker orange base, to give a lovely luxurious and vintage style look. Each bead is slightly different, which adds to their appeal.
I have continued the vintage style by complementing the large beads with smaller orange glass beads, pretty antique brass bead caps, and tiny antique brass beads.
The necklace fastens with a gorgeous antique brass butterfly toggle clasp, unusual and really pretty.
The burnt orange feature beads are quite large, measuring 23x19mm (0.9 x 0.7inch), but because they are synthetic they are very light in weight.
The smaller plain orange beads measure 8mm (0.3 inch) and are a lovely dark tangerine shade.
The butterfly closure measures 2.7cm (1.1 inch) at its widest point.
The total length of the necklace is 72.5cm (28.5 inches).
This is a striking and unusual necklace, and is a one-off (these beads are no longer available).
