Full description
This is a beautiful belt, handwoven using tablet weaving. It is 170cm long (excluding tassels) and 1.5cm wide. It has been carefully finished with a 20cm long tassel on each end.
The belt has been woven in 100% Blufaced Leicester wool that I have dyed by hand using madder, weld, woad and gallnuts to create historically accurate colours. The pattern on the belt is a beautiful red knot on a grey background. It would be the perfect finish to any reenactors outfit. If you like, you can remove the tassels and use the belt as trim on a garment instead.
