Full description
A solid wooden keepsake box decoupaged with my original watercolour and ink illustrations. featuring multi-coloured houses, children at play and a happy rainbow on the lid. Painted a soft turquoise and waxed inside with a rainbow lining.
The dimensions are: h10 x w15 xd9cm. Roomy enough for all sorts of small treasures – buttons, sewing/crafting bits n bobs, trinkets, beads, tea-bags, fabrics – it would make a thoughtful, lasting gift.
N.B. This box is hand-painted with paper snipped out by hand, and then roughed up to give a distressed feel i.e. not a pristine 'shop-bought' look!
The unpainted box was sourced from a UK-based family business and is of a really high quality. Made of solid lime and birch, it features hidden hinges and dove-tailed joints.
