I love making small items in between larger projects, and what could be smaller & cuter than baby items?
I also like using up the smaller pieces of fabric from previous projects that are too nice or big to throw away, but are too small to do much with. Again baby items are the perfect answer. I tend to only make a few at most of each item in any size, quite often just the one item in that fabric, so you can be sure that your baby will be dressed individually!
I also like experimenting with different less traditional fabrics & colours for children. I try to be open minded about the fabrics I use, and as long as they are soft enough and suitable for babies or children to wear the sky is the limit, and as of yet I've not had many disappointments!

Full description
These hand sewn shoes are made from a wool blend tweed style of fabric. Stitched with a same fabric lining, but with a microfibre sole, for wear. (incase you have a tiny one intent on standing!)
Top stitched around the foot opening to keep the shoes shape, and made from a double layer of quality fabric to give it a more rigid shoe like feel, yet retaining the softness & texture needed for baby items.
These shoes measure approximately 10.5cm long, so would be suitable for a foot measuring up to around 9-10cm. This I believe is around a size 2 shoe and suitable for approximately ages 3-6 months. The best be would be to measure the foot length to ensure it will fit, or alternatively measure a shoe that already fits to gauge if these would suit. Sizing lists are only a guide as we know babies can vary greatly in size.
