Full description

Keep your pins handy with this gorgeous pincushion brooch with a vintage feel to it. The brooch base is a 50mm disc with a scrolled edge in antique bronze and features a sturdy pin stitched to a felt circle attached to the back. The handmade pincushion is 40mm in diameter and made with tea-dyed cotton fabric, hand stamped and typed using portions of rubber stamps, a vintage John Bull Printing Outfit and an old manual typewriter. The lettering reads

'Cross your heart, hope to die,

Stick a needle in your eye'

an the pincushion is trimmed with cotton lace and a vintage mother of pearl button. The brooch will come boxed with a selection of pins' similar to the ones shown.
