Full description
This handmade note book was made from natural unbleached linen. It has an appliqué of a sailboat which came from a 100% cotton fabric called “Maritime”. The appliqué is only on the front of the note book.
I hand stitched the seven signatures together using natural hemp twine. Then I glued the end papers to the fabric covered boards. The spine has been left exposed because I think it is a nice feature.
Please note: There are irregularities with this handmade note book i.e. the cutting and folding of the paper is not perfectly flush.
This note book would make an ideal birthday, or Christmas gift or stocking filler for a child! It is lovely to look at, but is also useful and practical. I think adults would like it too!
Measurements: Note book is A6 size, 10.5 cm (4.25ins) x 15cm (6ins) approximately. 100gsm plain white paper, 58 pages
