Full description
This London bunting has been upcycled from a vintage London Pocket Atlas-Guide. The atlas-guide was over 60 years old (it talks about ‘Princess Elizabeth’). It was falling to pieces so we rescued the gorgeous maps to make this bunting. I fell in love with the gorgeous vintage colours as soon as I saw it – I love the soft green and blue colours together with the yellow and red!!
This listing is for ONE garland of bunting with 9 triangular flags, each 7in x 4.5 in (17.5 cm x 11cm). The bunting is the one at the top of the final photo. The garland has been threaded with rescued wool.
We have more of this bunting available so if you’d like more garlands, please let us know.
If the flags were placed end to end on the thread, the garland would be 99 cm long (approx 3ft 3in). We’ve included more wool so that you can spread the flags out if you want to – they slide easily – and there will still be plenty of wool to hang up the bunting.
This eco-friendly garland was designed to be viewed from one side only but the backs of the flags also have beautiful maps so it would be possible to hang the garland in the middle of a room.
This garland would look wonderful in any room! The soft vintage colours are gorgeous! Add a touch of Olympic celebration to your room with this fabulous vintage London map bunting.
Please bear in mind that this bunting is made of paper and isn't suitable for outdoors.
