These simple but elegant boxes are all made from reclaimed materials. The wood is reclaimed pine, carefully hand sanded to leave a beautiful finish with just a little bit of the original paint left on.The wood was originally part of the roof of a Victorian railway station that had a facelift after being descibed as the ugliest station in England! It was Manchester Victoria and the criticism must have hurt because it was renovated a couple of years later! The rope for the handles was hand made in Peak Cavern , Peak District in the traditional way and finishes the box off beautifully.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
