I always start thinking about Christmas early, & when I thought of these. I couldn't help but make them now.
The safety aspect is one of the reasons I started developing these. Having young relatives, they don't have a tree as the youngest kept pulling the ornaments off, so it was put away within hours of being put up. I thought this was a shame as the older ones are of an age to understand, but the risk to the youngest was still there!
These won't be a problem should they be knocked off, & will even take some playing with by the children!

Hand knitted mini christmas stockings, made to be used as christmas tree decorations, but could be used as any kind of festive decoration you can think of!
Made from a mixture of wool & man made fibres, they come in a set of 3 stockings per set, all of co-ordinating colours, but different patterns.
Each pack consists of 1 stocking in plain cream with turquoise toe, heel and cuff.
2 stockings with the same basic pattern, but the main 'leg' section will also be knitted incorporating a fairisle type of design, in cream & turquoise.
Each set of 3 will match in colour, but vary in design unless requested otherwise.
The stocking individually measure approximately 130mm high x 90mm wide.
Although designed as a Christmas decoration, they are small enough if you send large hand made cards, to be used as card toppers. Making them unique, as the recipient can use the stocking from the card in future years as decoration, rather than just throwing your whole card away after the new year!
I tend to make quite a few of these, & I play with the colour combinations & visual designs, so if you have an alternative colour scheme in mind, feel free to ask if I have anything suitable, it never hurts to ask & I generally have lots of colours available, but don't get around to photographing them all!
