I've always had a bit of thing for owls, so getting round to inventing a pattern for one was somewhat inevitable. And since I had a bag of dried lavender in my cupboard left over from a previous project, the two things seemed to go together - voila!

Full description
Lavender is apparently very helpful for a good night's sleep, so what could be a better nocturnal chum than a lavender-filled owl?
This little owl is approximately 7cm wide, 4.5cm deep and 8cm tall (not including the 10cm hanging loop). It's made from lavender and lemon-yellow yarn with a pink felt beak, and feathers and claw details marked out in pink embroidery thread, and googly eyes (so it can see where it's flying). It's filled with polyester toy stuffing and a layer of dried lavender flowers in the base - just give it a squeeze to bring out the scent.
Postage & packaging costs are the exact cost of Royal Mail 2nd Class postage. I aim to reuse and recycle packaging wherever possible.
If you would like an owl in another colour, feel free to send me a message and I'll see what I can do.
Sweet dreams!
