A golfing friend of my husbands spent his working life as a carpenter, restoring furniture including desks and writing slopes, saving the leather he had removed. He has generously donated a box full of vintage pieces. As a thank you, I am donating 25% of all profits from the green leather books to his local special school.

Vintage English leather is used to bind this journal - wrap around style known as a Yapp binding, which has been used since the middle ages!
A traditional green leather lined with part o a map of Europe taken from an old National Geographic World Atlas encases 72 pages (144 sides) of good quality (130gsm) cartridge paper. This has been hand torn leaving slightly irregular edges which add to its distinct charm. Each signature is carefully sewn to the spine with a waxed thread in a traditional design.
Closes with a genuine leather strap. Approx 6" x 4" (A6)
