I pick up old books from charity shops to use in my work and like to collage them together with other materials. Making silk paper is theraputic and meditative, definitely good for the soul. I can't resist finding the exact button from my massive collection!

Full description
combining a love of literature and landscape, this heart is created from handmade silk paper with heather trapped inside and an old wild flower book illustration. The reverse side is a piece of text from Emily Bronte's 'Wuthering Heights'.
The heart is approx 3x3.5 inches, embellished with a heather coloured button, stitches, and fitted with a ribbon to hang it wherever you please!
