Full description
A very useful poncho style hooded towel made from a standard bath towel with the hood added on. I also put a narrow satin ribbon just a little up from the hem to stop them being too plain.
59cms by 56cms, hood size 24cms from top of hood to shoulder.
I made a couple of these for my girls as we regularly go swimming and I found that using a normal flat towel or a dressing gown was just not at all practical. They worked so well that I have now made several for friends children. Originally intended only for swimming these proved so useful that we now use them for after bath time as well as it means I stay dryer and they are more snug when they get out of the bath.
My girls are 1 and 3 and this size works well for both of them the 3 year old still has plenty of growing room left in hers, although when my 12 year old decided to try one on for size as he thought it would make him look like a Jedi it was a bit snug going over his head!
