I've always been fascinated by the way people interact and 'play' with the jewellery that they wear, usually when they are 'thinking deeply' or having a bit of a daydream!
I'm also really interested in mechanical engineering and the way things 'work', so the two have been linked together in my kinetic designs, to form unusual and, sometimes, intriguing jewels.

Full description
These fun kinetic Sterling Silver cufflinks feature rolling Black Onyx spheres, which roll backwards and forwards across the top frame section.
Handmade in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques, the frame section is constructed from 1.5mm Sterling Silver square wire which attaches to a secure 3mm solid silver rod and fixed bar cufflink fixing. The Black Onyx spheres are 4mm in diameter, and the length of the cage track is 30mm approx. Also available with 9ct yellow Gold rolling spheres rather than Onyx, please contact me for more information.
Hallmarked with my own maker’s mark at the London Assay Office and supplied in a Claire Wood Designer Jeweller branded gift box.
