Full description
This striking statement pendant came about after experiments I made in using sterling silver wire to create 3D structures.
Each ‘layer’ of the pendant is formed by hand using square silver wire to create the arc shaped pieces. The base of these is then drilled to allow the pendant to be constructed with three silver wires, each of these having contrasting deep pink glass tube beads spaced between the arc shapes to create the pattern. This is completed with a tube bail at the top.
Completely unique, this is a one-of-a-kind design which I think has a rather contemporary oriental look to it.
The overall length of the pendant is 58mm (2.25 inches) approx., and it is 46mm (1.75 inches) wide at the widest part, so it is quite a large pendant.
The pendant is supplied on a 40cm (16 inch) flexible Sterling Silver omega necklet wire with trigger clasp fastener. Presented in a Claire Wood Designer Jeweller gift box.
