The inspiration behind this drawing is pretty trivial really...but it's always good to make the trial fun!
I used to work in a pub and one Sunday morning I needed to tell people that there was additional seating available for roast eating upstairs. So the sign read 'More seating upstairs' and this little fella was the natural accompaniment!
I have the original drawing of this on my dressing table and it just makes me giggle when I see it in the morning, I hope he will have the same affect on others too :)

Full description
'Batman Likes Sitting Down' is a 3 colour limited edition screen print by Sally Leach. From an original illustration by Sally it was hand printed in her home studio, with help from her ball of fluff cat, Daisy.
It is printed on wonderfully thick (320 gsm) Heritage white paper and is 8 x 10" in total.
Each one is signed and editioned by Sally, with a date stamp on the reverse. This is from a first edition of just 30.
It is printed with water based inks, in banana yellow, mid grey and charcoal black.
The print is available unframed, and is delivered with a extra protective board in a cello-wrap and sturdy board backed envelope.
