Item details

Cream background with country flowers, each flower is approx 1cm. The frame is finished with a ochre tinted crackle glaze finish and protected with a satin varnish. The mirror is supplied with a (fitted) single central hook. Due to the nature of the finish the mirror is not suitable for use in humid or steamy environments.

Dimensions - external frame 21cm x 21cm, mirror 11.5cm x 11.5cm, surround width 4.5cm, frame width 2cm. Weight, 580g.

Ah, the scraps that other people don't need. Spare wood from a DIY project, off cuts of mirror from a local shop, paper that had been collected in my collage box. I wanted to make some cute vintage inspired shabby frames, just some little feature frames to brighten up the odd spot here and there. I thought about the different ways that each frame, although the same dimensions, could be made to look unique. Again these frames have been made from up-cycled materials, when they're gone they're gone.
