I had produced this lovely felt on my embellisher machine and it was waiting to be made into something pretty and useful!

A pretty and tactile gift for a keen sewer this little needle case features yellow daisies hand-stitched onto a striped, felted background.
A variety of yarns in greens, golds and scarlets are felted to a kunin felt background, using an embellisher machine. Daisies are embroidered in crochet cotton onto the front of the cover. The same crochet cotton is used to edge the cover in blanket stitch. The cover is reinforced with a layer of interfacing and lined with green checked fabric from an up-cycled shirt. The needle case closes by tying a bow in crocheted cords worked in yellow, orange and cream cotton knitting ribbon. Two pieces of golden yellow felt are stitched into the center, forming four 'pages' for your pins and needles.
