Full description
This cushion is made from a rare piece of 1950s fabric that is so delightfully kitsch! Cream background with home scenes all over in yellow, red, blue and green - typical of the period.
I've used it to front this cushion and trimmed the envelope opening with a ric-rac from the States that picks out the highlight colours of the vintage fabric. The reverse is made from a modern open-weave cream cotton.
Fully lined in cream cotton. Supplied complete with a 14" feather inner so that it arrives with you ready to enjoy.
A lovely addition to a midcentury lover's home. Great gift for a kitsch fan! You might recognise this fabric as it featured in Cath Kidston's Patch book in an applique project.
