A handbag to get you noticed, or for those who just love Wimbledon, or who love the colour combination of purple and green.
I really enjoy creating unique items and find crochet so relaxing, and adore blending differing items together to create something new and exciting.

Tied to Wimbledon! Is a hand Crocheted Handbag, designed with Wimbledon in mind, incorporating a handle strap made from a portion of Gent's neck tie, with acorn decoration, completed with crocheted purple circular decorations, to the and back & on the flap over frontage, which hides the single lucite button closure.
This is a unique handmade handbag, with 100% Acrylic bottle green & regal purple yarns, has been crocheted & hand sewn. The handbag has been fully lined with thick quilted white 100% cotton material, to add a little structure & rigidity.
The main body of the handbag has been crocheted in this deep green yarn, then crocheted on the edges & across the front of the bag. I have added the purple circular decorations afterwards. The side panels have been crocheted in an upturned tennis racket shape for that little added detail & also gives the base of the handbag more internal depth.
This is a unique handmade item, fully hand crocheted & hand stitched by myself, to my own unique design.
This handbag can be hand washed with care, but I would suggest that you do not wring and then dry flat to retain its shape.
Tied to Wimbledon is irregular in shape, measuring approx 23cms in height, excluding the handle & approx 32cms in width. Base depth is approx 11cms. The drop of the handbag from the shoulder is approx 60cms.
This handbag, when unfilled will be loose and gently floppy.
