Full description
A small piece of orignal artwork - machine embroidery using vintage and other old scraps of colourful textiles - to make an inspirational little picture, which would make the perfect present for a Wedding or an green fingered friend!
The pea pod decoration is machine embroidery stitched, and is mounted on board, which has been covered with pages from an old book of Gullivers Travels found at a flea market. The background is painted with acrylic paint, also using coloured inks and pens for the words Peas in a Pod.
Measures 15cm x 18cm and has a twisted hessian loop so can be hung straight onto your wall. It has a pretty back with calico fabric and a hand printed label on craft paper, plus a ribbon.
