In the 1979 I entered my first design competition for which I designed and made a crochet shoulder bag. This bag is an adaptation on my original design.

Full description
Hand Crocheted Shoulder Bag that will look great when out and about. It has two shoulder length crochet handles. It is fully lined with a pale green 100% cotton lining. The bag is strong enough to take shopping, to the beach or any where you fancy. It has a crocheted green flower with a retro ridge patterned white button centre as a pretty adornment.
The shoulder bag has been crocheted mainly in green and white wool and acrylic mixed yarn with a thin green stripe. I then continued to edge and frame the bag with the same green yarn.
The bag is approximately 15.9inches (40cm) long by 14.2inches (36cm) wide and the shoulder handles are just under 2inches (4cm) wide by 14inches (35.5cm) in length.
