A unique and glamorous bride and her handsome groom!
The bride bird is made from ivory damask with an ivory eco-felt breast. I have created a full skirt effect from a very fine cotton with satin ribbon waistband. Her wings are ivory lace appliques and she wears glasses made from copper wire.
The dashing groom is made from white linen fabric with a white felt breast He wears a charcoal grey waistcoat made from a wool blend fabric and with a subtle check throughout. I have added a tiny grey button for detail. His wings are the same white linen as his upper body on a base layer of white felt for added stability. In addition he has a cream rose buttonhole on the lapel of his waistcoat.
The groom has a dark brown felt beak and the bride a beak cut from a paler tan felt. Both have eyes made from tiny black seed beads centred on little circles of light coloured felt. The birds are free standing on re-purposed copper wire legs and both are firmly filled with polyester toy filling to ensure they retain their perfect shape for years to come!
