Full description
This lovely recycled bunting has been made from a rescued vintage Ladybird Book, ’A First Ladybird Key Words Picture Dictionary' from the 1970s. This beautiful book had been loved so much that its spine was broken so we rescued these fabulous pictures to make this gorgeous bunting.
The flags of the bunting are pages from the book with fabulous colour illustrations showing the whole alphabet (apart from one letter which didn't appear in the book at all....)! The pages do show some slight signs of age and pre-loving and we think this adds to its charm! The illustrations are wonderful and the colours are great!
The bunting has 13 flags, each measuring approximately 17 cm x 11cm. The garland is only suitable for viewing from one side and is for indoors use only.
If laid end to end the flags would stretch 133 cm (4 ft 4 in). We have included extra wool so that you can spread out the flags if you wish.
This bunting would be gorgeous for a child's bedroom or playroom and lovely for a children's party.
