I've been collecting ties to make into skirts & dresses for over 3 years, I love arranging the patterns and colours until it looks right. This one took a while for me to collect all the ties, as pink and purple are quite rare. The last one I made in these colours sold at my first birthday fashion show last year, so I'm happy that the new one is ready.

It's the 1st one I've made 'inside out' which I've wanted to do before but wasn't brave enough, I like the contrasting lining showing on little squares at the bottom of each tie, as it adds interest. Where the ties are stitched together in the middle causes the stripes to be more distorted, making for a skirt that makes you want to spin around like a spinning top!

It fits like a snug sleeping bag and is simply yummy to wear. I hope you like it!
