I made this necklace after looking at some photos I took of Strid Wood at Bolton Abbey in early autumn last year. The leaves were just turning and the floor of the wood was still covered in old leaves from the previous autumn. The semi precious stones I have used in this necklace remind me of the pebbles in the River Wharfe which runs alongside the wood

Full description
This jewellery set consists of a necklace and a pair of earrings. The necklace has been made using 11handmade polymer clay beads featuring leaves in shades of orange, red, brown, ochre and green. Interspaced between the focal beads are tibetan silver spacer beads, carnelian, jasper,and smoky quartz chip beads. The necklace measures 45 cms in total length and fastens with a tibetan silver toggle clasp. The earrings feature tibetan silver square bead frames and smoky quartz crystals hung on silver plated wires.
