I love the way that crushed glass melts in the heat of the kiln, to create random lacy glass patterns. It reminds me of bubbles in the sea, so I've added a couple of fish to complete the seaside scene!

Full description
This hand-made lacy fish hanger is made from crushed glass which melts in the heat of the kiln to create a fused glass lightcatcher, scattered with holes to look like bubbles in the water. The two little silver fishes swimming across are made from dichroic glass and the hanger is made from recycled copper wire.
Hang this lightcatcher on your wall, in your window, on a mirror, in your loo, conservatory or even in the garden!
This fishy hanger will be made to order, no two pieces will be identical, but will look similar to this. Choose from cobalt blue, sky blue & amber glass (first picture) or cobalt blue, turquoise & amber glass (second picture).
I can also make this light-catcher a little larger with three fishes, for an extra £2.00.
The fishy hanger measures approximately 18cm by 8cm.
This piece would not be suitable for children's bedrooms as it is very delicate. It will come carefully wrapped in tissue paper and plenty of bubble wrap to ensure it's safe delivery.
