This design was inspired by Rennie Mackintosh’s Art Deco lantern lampshades. Part of a collection of jewellery, the designs have evolved whilst I’ve been working on them and have taken on a bit of a 60’s sci-fi retro vibe!
This stylish, contemporary necklace has an almost oriental feel. Featuring Amethyst gemstone beads, the pendant is handmade in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The Sterling Silver cube frame is free to spin around the larger Amethyst bead. The ‘tassel’ is constructed from solid 2mm square Sterling Silver wire.

Overall pendant length – 60mm approx. (2.5 inches)
Width at widest point – 12mm approx. (0.5 inches)
Suspended from an 80cm (32 inch) Sterling Silver belcher chain, this pendant is designed to be worn long. The chain fastens securely with a bolt ring fastener.
Hallmarked with my own makers mark at the London Assay Office and supplied in a Claire Wood Designer Jeweller gift box.
