I usually use this type of button in pairs of bobby pins. I break off the shank as best I can and form a filligree base around them as a setting. However, the fact that these were in threes and one of each would be left all alone AND one set is square and difficult to set, I thought these would be happier left as they were!

Full description
Three trios of vintage glass buttons, probably from the 1950s - all self shank. 3 x Clear glass with a 'bubble' pattern - buttons are backed in gold and measure 13mm. 3 x Copper colour on black glass, cone shaped buttons with a swirl pattern, 14mm. 3 x rounded square buttons, silver weave pattern on black glass - 14mm. Total 9 buttons on a handmade Wychbury card.
