Full description
A while back, Clarissa and I spent the night under the stars looking for the Jade Rabbit on the moon. According to Chinese legend, the Jade Rabbit lives up there with Chang'e, the goddess of the moon, and he spends his days making the elixir of life for her.
One day, we're going to visit him there. I asked my friend, Nigel Floppyears if he could build us a rabbitrocket, but he says it's impossible.
So I've drawn this picture of what I think the Jade Rabbit looks like. He's mixing a new batch of the "elixir of life" for the Chinese princess. I'm not sure what ingredients go into the elixir of life, but I'm sure it must need lots and lots of carrots.
"Jade Rabbit" is a digital print created from my original pen and ink drawing, and printed in longlasting inks on high quality paper. It measures 4 x 6 inches (about 10 x 15cm), and it INCLUDES a tasteful soft white mat (mount), ready to slip into a standard 8 x 10 inch (about 20 x 25cm) frame.
The print is carefully packaged in a clear cello bag to protect it, and posted in a hardback envelope.
The first photo shows a detail from the picture; the second picture shows the entire picture. The third photo shows the picture matted (this is what we'll send you!). The last photo shows a framing suggestion.
Thank you for looking, and remember that nothing is impossible!
Bless your ears and whiskers,
Bob Tail,
Artist and Rabbit.
