Full description
This faux turquoise polymer clay pendant has been made to resemble "Eastern" turquoise.
It is made from a mixture of blues, greens, yellows and translucent clay colours with black acrylic paint mixed in. After baking, the pendant was hand sanded with 400 - 1200 grit paper which then revealed the black pattern and smoothed the pendant in the process.
I then hand polished it and applied a light coat of varnish.
I have added black waxed cotton cord which is passed through the central hole a number of times and securely knotted and glued.
The pendant is hung on 72cm (Approx 28 inches) of antique bronze coloured chain and is fastened with the same coloured toggle clasp in the shape of a heart.
