The kitchen is where it's at, right? I am in love with all things cakey and bakey....and was thinking about stitching some funky oven gloves to use as I take my loaves of bread out of the oven. This was a little design that floated in to my mind. Hope you like it!

Full description
A small piece of orignal artwork - machine embroidery using vintage and other old scraps of colourful textiles - to make an inspirational little picture, which could look very sweet in your kitchen.
The oven glove decoration is machine embroidery stitched, and is mounted on board, which has been covered with pages from an old book of Gullivers Travels found at a flea market. The background is painted with acrylics, also using coloured inks and pens for the illustration of the delicious detail of the cake on a stand.
Measures 15cm x 16cm and has a twisted hessian loop so can be hung straight onto your wall. Pretty back with handmade fabric label and spotted craft paper.
This is a perfect present for yourself or a friend - inexpensive, colourful and quirky, with a little piece of writing that will make you sigh!
