Barney owl sewing pattern …

This listing is for the sewing patterns for making a Barney owl toy and the Barney Owl bag, which has been featured in Craftseller magazine.

Finished size …

The finished bag is approximately 27cm wide, 21 cm high (excluding handle) and 3cm deep. The toy owl is approximately 14cm high, 17cm wide and 4cm deep.

About the pattern …

The pattern includes step by step instructions, colour photographs, and materials list. The step by step instructions make this project suitable for sewers of all abilities. The pattern pieces are to scale, so there is no need to enlarge...hit print and and you a ready to make your own owls!

To make your toy you will need this pattern and …

The toy and bag are made using a sewing machine. The bag uses approximately 0.5 metre each of two colours of quilting weight cotton fabrics, and the toy owl can be made from 2 fat quarters of fabric. You will also need some white and orange felt, buttons, some interfacing, as well as sewing needles and thread.
