A unique pair of fabric birds in shades of plum and green.
The 'girly' bird has a beaded halo accessory, made from crocheted jute twine and decorated with stylised felt circle flowers with beaded centres. The beads are various shades of purple, plum, green and pale lilac/grey. Interspered with the flowers are tiny sage green leaves made from eco felt. The bird is made from a vintage tablecloth in a graphic flower design. The bird's breast is made from the same fabric in a plain shade...the fabric used is from one of the napkins in the table linen set! The little bird's wings are made with a layer of the plain fabric on top of a purple felt base.
She has a tan felt beak and her eyes are tiny black seed-beads centred on little circles of pale grey felt to match the customer's colour scheme.
The 'boy' bird is made from a herringbone weave fabric in tones of green. I have given him wings with a top layer of the green fabric and a base layer of oatmeal wool felt. This handsome chap sports a fancy crest made from eyelash yarn in a very pale buttermilk shade.
His eye are black seed beads centered on circles of the oatmeal felt.
Both birds are happily free-standing on re-purposed copper wire legs and are nicely rounded with generous amounts of polyester toy filling!
Post is first class.
