Colourful quilted map of the world showing the different countries, continents, time zones, flags, landmarks and oceans and seas.
Each continent is a bright colour and has been quilted to help children begin to recognise their different shapes.
North America is Green and includes The White House, Golden Gate Bridge, Statue of Liberty and many others.
South America is yellow and includes the Amazon river and Machu Picchu,
Africa is red and includes the pyramids and safari animals.
Europe is white and includes the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben.
Asia is orange and includes Russian dolls, Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China
Australia is purple and includes koalas, boomerangs, and Sydney Opera House.
Across the top of the design is a row of clocks showing the time differences in the various zones across the world. Down the sides and round the edges of the map are the flags and names for 46 countries.
The wall hanging has been completed with a co-ordinated sea blue cotton backing fabric as well as four yellow ribbon loops through which a garden cane or similar rod can be inserted to enable easy hanging.
Measures approx 102cm (40") by 56cm (22.5") excluding ribbon loops.
This striking wall hanging would make a fabulous addition to any child's room as well as helping to learn the different areas of the world and will be enjoyed for many years to come.
