I was stuck for an idea for a birthday present for a teenage godson. It seemed a bit dismissive to just give him a voucher when I make gifts for everyone else. This is the compromise a compulsive crocheter came up with - a Grunge Ted. That led to Grunge Bunnies and Grunge Monkeys... Not every bunny is a fluffy bunny.

This is a bunny with attitude! Not satisfied with the fluffy bunny image, Grunge Bunny wears a skull and crossbones vest, adorned with a chain of safety pins, and has a safety pin through his ear. (Not really suitable for young children for this reason.)
Grunge Bunny is crocheted using a Regia cotton yarn, with a Rowan Panama vest. The skull and crossbones motif is made using sparkly white felt with permanent ink, and the safety pins are standard safety pins and can be removed. The eyes are safety eyes, and the stuffing is hollowfibre stuffing, complying with fire safety standards.
Grunge Bunny stands 18cm tall (or 23cm to the tip of his ears), and 15cm wide from arm to arm.
