Rainy days and Sundays when I was small were cosy opportunities to curl up with my Mum and learn to make something. They are cherished memories and ones I would like other children to experience.
These kits are aimed at children (girls AND boys) from around age 6+ years to learn simple sewing skills. They will need some adult supervision, but that is all part of the experience I would like to share - learning something together!
Each kit contains fabrics that are pre-cut and marked with tailors chalk with guidelines, co-ordinating thread and buttons for eyes. Also enclosed are full printed instruction that walk you through each step, show clear pictorial examples of different stitches and even a humorous troubleshooting guide for common problems (eg. my little brother dropped my frog in some soup).
