Mr Nutty is 30cm/12" tall, weighs 1kg, made from good quality plywood. Product does not include nuts.
Bird feeders are a great way of aiding birds throughout the year, it is not just in winter that birds need a good supply of food.
The nuts have to be broken up by the birds to fit through the mesh. This stops the birds choking on whole peanuts.
I have designed the feeder so that the birds are very happy feeding from it. Because the birds have to peck at the nuts, they prefer feeding by clinging onto the mesh. This is why there is no extended perch on the nut feeder - they just don't want it!
I have specially chosen galvenised mesh for this feeder so that those naughty squirrels can't bite through at get to the nuts themselves.
I have designed a secure and easy to fill roof system. The roof piece simply slides up the cord, the feeder can be topped up, and then you just slide the roof back down the cord.
I have painted the bird feeder with Cuprinol Outdoors Paint, which is fully waterproof and pet friendly. The cord I have used is strong and waterproof too.
This is not your ordinary bird feeder. I have done a lot of research into what those wonderful garden birds need and applied that to the design. This bird feeder is a beautiful item to look at in the garden, but it works too.
