Fresh Spring Green crocheted rose corsage, with additional leaf, embroidered with forest green yarn.
This corsages has been hand crocheted and is a very textural 3D brooch, fashioned in the form of a rose in full bloom, complete with a single leaf in the same yarn, shaped to give curvature and enhanced with embroidery to signify the veins of the leaf.
This Corsage, or Brooch, would be ideal as a gift of love. Would look lovely on any item of clothing, but would also look fantastic secured to a favourite handbag, giving it a new look.
The rose has been secured onto a silvertone pin mechanism, with a role over clasp, to help secure the brooch to your clothing and help it remain where you pinned it.
The yarn for this pretty item is a blend of Acrylic, cotton and polyamide, so washable with care up to 30'C. I would suggest handwashing, shaping whilst damp and drying flat to retain its shape.
Approximate measurements: 10cms in width, including the leaf. The head of the rose alone measures approx 7cms in diameter. The depth of the brooch, including the pin mechanism is approx 3cms.
