This is a custom order for customer Susiemakes - please do not purchase this item unless you are this customer! However, if you would like something similar please do get in touch!
This gorgeous pair of wedding birds make a very handsome sight indeed! The groom is made from a navy blue linen with wings that have a base layer of navy felt which is 100% wool. He has a contrasting ivory felt breast and wears a tiffany blue felt tie. His eyes are tiny black seed beads centred upon little circles of ivory felt which gives the eyes definition and the little bird bags of character!
The stunning bride bird is made from a fine pale cream cotton with an ivory felt breast to match that of the groom. Her wings have been made by adding a top layer of the creamy cotton to a base of ivory felt. I have lovingly stitched tiny seed beads in alternate silver-sparkle and pearl colours around the edge of each wing. This beautiful bride has her face framed with pretty handcut felt flowers, in shades of peach and tiffany blue. Each flower has a tiny bead at it's centre. Her beak is cut from the peach coloured felt and her eyes are tiny black seedbeads centred on little circles of ivory felt.
Both bride and groom have been filled with just the right amount of polyester toy filling and both happily stand on legs made from re-purposed copper wire.
Post is first class.
