I make stained glass trains as my daughter's mother-in-law has a tearoom on Malvern station and sometimes sells my glass there. I was delighted when a train driver brought one of my first trains as that meant it looked authentic.

This is a stained glass suncatcher entirely handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

This is a steam train, an engine with bubbles of clear glass nuggets for steam and more shiny black nuggets for wheels. There is a funnel in black striped glass and a gold bell.

The body of the train is rich blue from several different types and texture of glass. It is approximately 9 cm square.

It makes a lovely fun suncatcher and it looks absolutely super hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for a room, especially a child's.

Please note this is an ornament not a toy as it is made of glass.

The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the train.

This is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
