Full description
I love these Czech Glass Drops. They are specially coated in a fabulous mix of greens; moss and verdigris with flecks of olive. They are wire wrapped to a frame of copper loops, which i have hammered flat for strength and texture, then oxidised and polished to a lovely dark shade.
I give the hooks a coat of clear varnish to protect the skin from going green, but the rest of the earring will tarnish beautifully and give the drops extra character.
I handmade the hooks. They are slightly smaller than standard ones as I like the drop to hang very close to the ear lobe.
From the top of the hook to the bottom of the copper loop these earrings measure 3.5 cm or 1 1/3 inch.
Don't forget you can get barrettes or clip on fastenings instead if you need them. You can find them under accessories in my shop.
